Safe Boating With Life Jackets

Life jackets may be the most important part of your marine accessories because they save lives, if you are jumping in the water to cool off you should have a life jacket close by and you should not jump in the water if you are the only one in the boat. Remember life jackets are a life saving device and should be cared for that way, do not store them wet in an enclosed area because that will let them mildew and become rotten and not safe to use when it is needed. You can choose from a variety of manufactures as well as styles and colors just make sure they will provide the safety that they are designed to do and look for the Coast Guard approval.
