Making the Most of Lakefront Property

Author: WaterBlogged, 03 23rd, 2010

After saving up for several years, I finally purchased myself an inboard motorboat last summer. My family has lived on the lake for several years, and buying a boat seemed long overdue. Over the years, we had purchased our kids several pieces of inflatable sport equipment, and now that we have the boat, those inner tubes and floats can now be towed behind the craft.

Although it is only March, everyone in the family is chomping at the bit to get back on the lake. The water is still frigid, and I convinced my children that we have to wait until at least May before attempting to brave the cold. In order to tide them over, I’ve promised to purchase a couple of new toys for the boat this summer if they display some patience.
