Inflatables all year round!
, 12 04th, 2008
Some of those same inflatable water toys you use for fun in the water during the summer can be used in the winter for sliding down snowy slopes. Though you want to avoid using inflatables like water mattresses and those made of thin plastic, most inner tubes made of rubber or durable plastic are just fine for the snow. In addition, the special inner tubes that are pulled behind watercraft make excellent snow toys. Ensure to refill inflatable toys that were used during the summer if you’re using them again in the winter. The most common reason for a hole or rupture to form is from an inflatable that isn’t quite full on air.
You might also have to refill your snow inflatables during or after a ride down the slopes; with more pressure on the inflatable, more air is liable to escape through the filling hole.
