Successful Fishing Expeditions

Every August my son and I take a long fishing trip to some remote lake in the Pacific Northwest. Each year it gets more and more difficult to find secluded waters that still have an abundance of fish. The last couple of years, there was nothing but a few nibbles and we had to eat our emergency food in lieu of the fresh fish.

This year we were determined not to have a repeat of last year’s debacle. My son has done extensive research to find the best places for fishing, and he was able to find an area that had a couple of good lakes within a few miles of each other. I also purchased an Eagle fishfinder so that we don’t waste time trolling where there aren’t any fish to be had.
