Catch Fish
, 08 05th, 2010
Let’s face it, everyone who goes fishing wants to catch fish. Years ago this involved going out early and spending a few hours looking for the ‘right spot’. Typically this involved trying to relocate that spot you had pretty good luck at last time, spending a while fishing and coming up empty, then moving on to a ‘better’ spot. Then repeat ,over and over until you got lucky enough to catch something. This would then become your ‘good spot’ to be returned to the next time. All the time you were cruising from spot to spot, you probably thought to yourself, if I could only see what was going on under the water, fishing would be so much easier.
Well, today with the recent availability of affordable fish finders, your prayers have been answered.
Every Garmin fishfinder, from the most basic to the best model (with its compact size and black and white display) to their very best (with choice of dual beam or dual frequency tranducers for operation in freshwater or saltwater) all perform the same basic function – they locate fish in the water underneath your boat. Did you ever consider that as you were coasting from site to site looking for a good spot, that you might actually be passing right over the fish without ever knowing so now you can come back from your fishing trip and brag about all the fish you caught.
