Finding Fish
, 06 22nd, 2010
Since fishing season opened, my son and I have been going anging a couple of times a week in our favorite local lake. We usually have a good deal of success in a few trusty locations around the coastline, but this year the fish just don’t seem to be biting. After a disappointing weekend with nothing but a few nibbles, I’ve decided to invest in some new equipment to augment our fishing expeditions.
I started by going to the local fishing shop and purchasing a slew of new lures and spinners to change things up a bit. It also occurred to me that we might have depleted the fish from the trusty spots we usually frequent, so I also invested in a Humminbird fishfinder. This revolutionary gadget allows us to see what’s below the water’s surface, so we don’t waste time casting our lines when nothing is happening below the surface.
