Marine Accessories
, 01 06th, 2010Having a well stocked boat will ensure that your boating experience is not only fun and convenient, but also safe. The right marine accessories can enhance your trip with the comforts of home. Accessories range from basic safety precautions, to high end and luxury items. Some accessories may also be used off of the boat as well, for camping or general every day use. The price range for these items range from inexpensive to quite pricey depending on the type of accessory.
Safety is of utmost importance when boating. There are many marine accessories that are imperative to maintaining safety on a boat. Marine accessories like life jackets are a requirement when out on the water. Navigational accessories like compasses, a GPS, and navigational systems are important for travelling on the boat. Clothing like boat shoes will keep boaters from slipping on the deck, and rain gear is imperative for storms that may pop up. A clock is very useful when boating, especially those that incorporate tides in the display. Weather accessories can help boaters to avoid impending storms or wait a storm out. A marine radio is handy to contact the Coast Guard if a vessel is in distress. Other accessories like propellers, buoys, anchors and roping are all necessary for the normal operation of a boat.
Other marine accessories have dual purposes – practicality and fun. Items like door mats can express personal style and sentiment, while still being a practical way to discourage slipping and sliding from wet shoes. Items like coolers, toasters, coffee makers and barbecue grills are handy ways to cook and eat while boating. Some more luxurious appliances like blenders may be used if a boat has the space to allow additional items. Items like ladders can make entering the water from the boat an easy task. Marine accessories like water skis, wake boards and rafts are fun additions to the boating experience for many people. Boats with cabins can use accessories like bedding, pillows, towels and shower supplies for the comfort of guests. Some accessories are purely for fun, like specialty lights or boating attire customized with the vessel na

Stainless Steel Boat Propellers
, 01 05th, 2010Wh
y would we use stainless steel boat propellers on our boat well the reason is that stainless steel is very rigid and keeps it designed shape when boating and most important they keep their shape at high speed or when we are pulling someone, also they last longer in salt water and if we hit something the may not sustain damage. Even though their price is higher in the long run you should save money because of the longer time they will last.
Set to Sea Prepared
, 01 04th, 2010
Every time you go out to sea, you will need a navigation system to make sure you are on the right course. You can find marine GPS systems that are perfect for whatever marine adventure you are having. There are chartplotters, sounders, fishfinders and handheld systems.
A lot of fishermen rely on accurate sonar and satellite information to get to the best fishing grounds. If you are just using a handheld unit, you can be sure that it will tell you where you want to go. These units are durable and waterproof so they can withstand the harsh and rugged outdoor weather. They have great screens so you can easily read the display. There are some models that even have an altimeter so you can plot the barometric pressure in your course.
e – Unlike an aluminium propeller, ProPulse is not subject to corrosion or cavitation damage. The finish will be “as new”, even after many years of use.
