Family Boating Memories
, 11 05th, 2009
Since before I was born, my parents have been avid boaters. They have always owned their own watercraft and loved going waterskiing, scuba diving and taking part in any other activity water-related activities. When I was little my dad would let me sit on his lap and drive the boat around in open areas, which was always the highlight for me.
Due to their many boating excursions, my parents became pros when it came time to make transitions at the boat launch. When I was sixteen my parents decided to let me try to drive the boat onto the trailer: big mistake. Although I could easily navigate the open waters, maneuvering around the docks was a different story. Thankfully I remembered to put the boat bumpers out, because I smacked into the dock more than a couple of times.

Boat Fenders
, 08 18th, 2009Watching
people pull their boat up to the boat dock without using fenders is really funny with the rough water and a lot of arms trying to keep the boat of the dock while getting gas, now you know the boat got a few marks on it. This would not happen if you had boat fenders out, then you see the people that use the boat fenders and take off with them hanging over the side this is also not a good thing to do. Keeping you boat in good looking shape just think about what you are doing.
